Concept

A front cover and editorial piece for a magazine
about travel and existential thought. Liminal means occupying a position at, or on both sides of, a boundary or threshold. The magazine alludes to this nestled inside a ‘secret file’ envelope with cut out letters. The red line meanders across the logo. Inside an article about traveling on the Trans-Siberian Express focuses on the journey of the mind that such an experience provides. Stark imagery is placed alongside diary entries and typewritten reflections.
